I would like to salute my husband, Dan for his service in the U.S. Army Reserves and National Guard.

Like many men, he had the urge to serve his country around the time he entered adulthood, but didn't join. It wasn't until he turned 35 that he realized it would be now or never... so he joined the Army Reserves in Las Vegas, NV and served for 4 years in both the reserves and guard. I am so proud of him and his desire to serve. He comes from a long line of veterans, including all 4 of his brothers, his father and grandfathers. Thank you all for your service.
I would also like to salute my brother, my father and my grandfathers, all who served in the military. My grandfather served during WWII in the Army, my dad during Viet Nam in the Navy and my brother who joined the U.S. Army shortly after September 11, 2001. He deployed to Iraq and served one year before returning home. I also have many friends who have served in the military and would like to say thank you for your service and doing a sometimes unpopular, but necessary job.
