Continue your Winter Tradition with destination ice skating!

Visit The Capitol District Ice Rink to discover your winter tradition on ice. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Shine the Light on Hunger campaign, which supports Food Bank for the Heartland.

$10 admission fee includes skate rental and benefits Food Bank for the Heartland.

**Admission is still required for patrons who bring their own skates.

Note: All skaters need to sign a waiver each time you skate. If you are 18 years of age or younger, a signature from a parent or guardian is required. Save some time in line and print your waiver now!

2019 Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 6 – 10pm
• Friday: 6 pm – 11pm
• Saturday: noon – 11pm
• Sunday: noon – 9pm

Holiday Hours:

• Christmas Eve: noon – 4pm
• Christmas Day: Closed
• New Year’s Eve: noon – 10pm

DURING THE OPS WINTER BREAK DECEMBER 23 THRUOGH JANUARY 6, AS WELL AS ON MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY ON JANUARY 20, THE RINK WILL BE OPEN FROM NOON TO 11:00pm.

About the Rink

Located in the new Capitol District development, the Ice Rink is an impressive 60×120 ft. and artificially chilled.

Recommended Parking

• $2 Parking: The Capitol District is partnering with the Holland Performing Arts Center to use their parking lot which is located across from The Capitol District on Capitol Street. Enter at 1114 Capitol. Parking is available Monday – Friday | 6pm – 12am and on weekends for a special ice rink rate of $2 per car.

Shine the Light on Hunger

A portion of the proceeds from the rink is donated to Food Bank for the Heartland as part of the “Shine the Light on Hunger” campaign, a significant component of the Holiday Lights Festival. Conagra Brands Foundation will match ice rink admission up to $100,000 for the campaign. For every $1 donated, Food Bank for the Heartland can distribute three meals to those in need. Look for Shine the Light collection bins at the ice rink. Your non-perishable food item donations will be distributed to families in need by Food Bank for the Heartland.
